Safety SystemsANCHOR POINTS - WHY YOU’LL NEED ONE
We begin by insuring the building is in compliance with the the standards set by law. At one point or another, access to the roof of a building is essential to carrying out maintenance and repair work. For this reason, the law requires that an approved safety roof anchor be installed. We’ll ensure that all works carried out our fully compliant with industry and government standards. ANCHOR INSTALLATION & REPAIR Depending on your specific requirements, we also may be able to install an access system on your high rooftop or building. Roof top access requires Anchor Points to comply with roof Safety requirements. ANCHOR TESTING SkyLabb can conduct a site inspection for you. We will take steps to ensure you are abiding by Australian legal standards by testing the safety and compliance of your anchor point ensuring you are abiding by compliant safety standards for safe access to your building or project. |
Fall ArrestsFALL ARRESTS - COVERING ALL BASES
Fall arrest is a form of fall protection designed to aid a safe stopping of a person who is free falling. It makes up one of several forms of fall protection, and ensures the safety of qualified workers and nearby public. Fall protection is required when any work above the ground or a solid surface is required. The regulations recommend that a fall protection system be provided when working above 2 metres, however this does not mean that work under 2 metres does not require risk control measures to be implemented. Fall arrest systems must only be used by competent persons who have experience and training in the safe use of the system and associated equipment. Training must be undertaken by a Registered Training Organistation (RTO). Installation of a compliant fall arrest system combined with anchor point systems ensures maximum safety for workers.
